In April, Fairmint acquired The RWA Desk, a New York-based community bringing together Wall Street decision-makers and blockchain innovators. The objective was to accelerate the adoption of onchain capital markets by connecting the people building financial infrastructure with the institutions that will use it.
Today, we’re introducing the next chapter of that effort: Onchain.FM.
Presented by Fairmint and hosted by Chad Oda, Head of Institutional Growth at Fairmint and founder of The RWA Desk, Onchain.FM is a new media network dedicated to the people, companies, and institutions bringing capital markets onchain.
The launch begins with The Wire, a weekly newsletter delivering news, analysis, and perspectives on onchain capital markets. A live show from Fairmint’s Times Square studio in New York City is planned for January 2027.
From the Same Room to a Broader Conversation
The RWA Desk built its reputation bringing together institutional investors, issuers, asset managers, banks, and blockchain builders. Its private gatherings and executive conversations created a place for the people shaping tokenized finance to share ideas, build relationships, and work through the practical challenges of bringing capital markets onchain.
As Joris Delanoue, Fairmint’s CEO and co-founder, explained when we announced the acquisition, these were the people already helping determine what financial markets would become.
Fairmint has been building onchain equity infrastructure since 2019. We believe the next generation of capital markets will rely on programmable ownership, interoperable infrastructure, and a more direct connection between companies and capital.
But no single company can build that market alone.
Issuers, investors, financial institutions, regulators, and infrastructure providers all have a role in determining how these markets operate. Their experience, priorities, and willingness to collaborate will shape what becomes possible.
Onchain.FM extends the conversations that began around The RWA Desk’s tables to a much larger audience.
Our ambition is to create a town square for onchain capital markets, where the people building the market can exchange ideas, challenge assumptions, and help shape its evolution.
Market Intelligence for Better Decisions
The transition to onchain capital markets is creating opportunities for companies, investors, and financial institutions. Understanding which developments are meaningful, and what they mean in practice, can provide a real advantage.
For an issuer, that could mean identifying new ways to access capital. For an investor, it could mean recognizing an emerging opportunity or understanding its risks. For a financial institution, it might mean deciding which capabilities to build, which partnerships to pursue, or when a new market is ready for participation.
Onchain.FM is being built to help those decision-makers stay informed and act with greater confidence.
Its weekly newsletter, The Wire, will cover developments across tokenized securities, stablecoins, market structure, regulation, institutional adoption, and the infrastructure connecting traditional and onchain finance.
The emphasis is on practical intelligence: what’s happening, who’s involved, how things work, and where the market is heading.
The goal is to give readers insight they can apply to the decisions they face, while connecting them with the people closest to the work.
Bringing the Conversation Live from Times Square
The Wire is the first step in building Onchain.FM into a broader media network.
In January 2027, Onchain.FM Live is scheduled to launch from Fairmint’s Times Square studio in New York City.
As host, Chad Oda will bring together the people building, financing, and shaping onchain capital markets for conversations about what they’re working on, where they’re allocating capital, and the decisions driving the industry forward.
Chad continues to serve as Fairmint’s Head of Institutional Growth, connecting the company’s infrastructure and institutional relationships with the broader ecosystem.
The format will evolve, but the purpose remains rooted in what made The RWA Desk valuable: connecting the people whose decisions and experience will shape the market.
Building the Next Generation of Capital Markets Together
At Fairmint, we believe ownership is infrastructure. Bringing equity onchain has the potential to change how companies raise capital, how investors participate, and how ownership moves across financial markets.
Making that future a reality requires more than technology. It requires institutions working together, shared standards, and an informed community capable of evaluating what’s being built.
Our acquisition of The RWA Desk brought Fairmint closer to the institutions and people shaping that transition. Onchain.FM gives those conversations a platform to reach further.
We’re proud to present Onchain.FM and support the community building the future of capital markets.
